IN SUPPORT OF AFRICA

We support initiatives which fight the disease. We aim to create a positive impact on local communities and contribute to achieving resilience.

IN EVERY FORMATION, THERE IS A UNIFIED GOAL, AND TO ACHIEVE OURS:

THE #INFORAFRICA ALLIANCE IS CALLING ON GLOBAL INFLUENCERS TO LEAD THE FESTIVAL, BY SHARING NOT ONLY THEIR TALENTS AND SKILLS, BUT ALSO VITAL INFORMATION TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO STAY SAFE

Messages of hope, and encouragements to donate will be prevalent throughout the duration of the event. Through these efforts, we will assist those who are on the ground, already helping their communities across the continent.

From comedians and athletes, to actors and artists, to fashion designers, media figures and social media influencers – they will all be present to take part in fundraising, and sharing life saving information in their own unique ways.

From Swahili to Wollof; French to Luganda; Lingala to Yoruba, English to Portuguese; Shona to Twi, The #INFORAFRICA Festival will connect with as many as possible, as far as possible, and as fast as possible.

AFRICA DAY IS THE ANNUAL COMMEMORATION OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE AFRICAN UNION

Organizing this festival on this day has a powerful significance : bringing together Africans from the continent and abroad, within and across the diaspora to celebrate through culture and art, the resilience of the continent.

IN ADDITION TO THE GLOBAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN, #INFORAFRICA WILL RAISE FUNDS FOR SOME OF THE MOST VULNERABLE ON THE CONTINENT.

These funds will support efforts to fight the pandemic, and deliver humanitarian relief.  Donations will go directly to the Africa Union’s COVID-19 Response Fund  and can be made in any currency via credit card, mobile pay, or bank transfer.  Donations will also go directly to the UN’s  COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO that will be directed to WHO Africa.
